Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town Nazim Wasey Jalil appealed people to cooperate with town administration in cleaning of different areas of town and free flow traffic, as both were our priorities, particularly during holy month of Ramazan.

In a statement issued here on Sunday evening, he said that special arrangements were being made by town administrations of Gulshan-e-Iqbal town to ensure cleanliness in different areas of town.

He asked people not to panic in case of traffic jam and should travel through alternate roads because several roads had been closed for traffic due to ongoing construction works. Traffic police and other concerned department should also provide guidance to people through maps or traffic signs about alternate roads, he added.

In also said that Nazim declared emergency throughout the town and directed concerned sanitary staff to complete the cleaning of different areas of town before Eid-ul-Fitr by removing garbage from different spots and by rutting off bushes from the surroundings of Eid Gahs and different mosques.

He further asked people to cooperate with the town administration so that it would work on emergency basis round-the-clock to provide better civic services to the masses.
